Growing List
Pre-match betting gives you time to research and plan. Live in-play betting is a completely different experience – odds shift in real time as the game unfolds, and you're reacting to what's actually happening on the court, field, or ring.
c777 offers in-play betting on major basketball, football, boxing, and esports events. Once a match goes live, you can see continuously updated odds and place bets on outcomes like the next team to score, the lead at halftime, whether a round will go the distance, and much more. The markets available depend on the specific event.
Live betting on the c777 platform works just as well on mobile as on desktop. Whether you're watching a PBA game on TV from Manila or streaming an esports match in Davao, you can have the c777 sportsbook open on your phone and place bets as the action develops.
Understanding the different bet types available at c777 helps you make more informed decisions when you're placing wagers. Here's a rundown of the most common bet formats you'll find in the c777 sportsbook.
The simplest bet – you pick which team or player wins the match. No spread, no conditions. The straightforward nature makes it ideal for beginners and popular for basketball and boxing.
One team is given a virtual advantage or disadvantage to level the field. Common in basketball and football. A team favoured by a 5-point spread needs to win by more than 5 for the bet to succeed.
You bet on whether the total score, goals, or points in a game will be over or under a set number. Popular in basketball totals and football goal markets. Doesn't require picking a winner.
Combine multiple selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the bet to pay out, but the combined odds are much higher than individual bets. Higher risk, higher potential return.
Bet on the winner of a competition before it starts or during the season. Examples include the PBA championship winner, the NBA Finals champion, or the FIFA World Cup winner.
Proposition bets focus on specific outcomes within a game rather than the final result. Examples: which player scores first, total three-pointers made, or total aces served in a tennis match.
Understanding Odds Formats
c777 supports multiple odds display formats. You can usually switch between formats in your account settings. The most common formats you'll encounter in the Philippines are:
| Format | Example | Reading |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.50 | Return = stake × odds |
| American | +150 / -110 | +win / -stake needed |
| Fractional | 3/2 | Profit / stake ratio |
| Indonesian | 1.50 / -1.10 | Similar to American |

Sports betting is meant to add to the enjoyment of sport, not to replace other priorities or create financial stress. Here are some practical principles that apply to every bettor on c777.
Decide how much you're comfortable putting into sports betting per week or per month before you start. Treat it as entertainment spending, not an investment. Never bet money you cannot afford to lose.
You'll make better decisions betting on sports you actually follow. A PBA fan who knows the current standings and form is better placed to assess a basketball bet than someone betting at random on an unfamiliar league.
Losing runs are a normal part of sports betting. Trying to recover losses by increasing your stakes usually makes things worse. If you've hit your budget for the session, stop and come back another day.
Live betting in particular can be very engaging and time-consuming. Be aware of how long you've been betting in a single session. Set time limits for yourself and use the tools on the c777 Responsible Gaming page to help manage this.
